a) Education Scholarship Support Program for (60)Badi girls :
COMMIT Nepal has been effectively and continuously working with its own motto, “Equal & Quality Education”  for the highly risky and vulnerable Badi girls to develop them as a role model and civilized in the Badi community. COMMIT Nepal has been protecting & supporting vulnerable, risky and poor Badi girls and women through the “Karuna (Compassion) Project” with the precious support of COM Switzerland since 2017. It has been continuously supporting 25 Badi girls in 2017, 40 girls in 2018, 60 girls including 55 girls for Secondary School Level and 5 girls for Higher Secondary Level in 2019. Similarly, this existed year 2020, COMMIT Nepal has been supporting 60 vulnerable Badi girls including 50 girls for Secondary School Education level and 10 Badi girls for the Higher Secondary Education level since January 2020.
According to the Karuna project, beneficiary girls are getting Education Support on different headings like Admission fees, Textbooks and bags annually, School Uniforms & Shoes half-yearly basis and tuition fee & Educational Stationeries are getting on a monthly basis.

b) Education relief support for Risky Badi girls
COMMIT Nepal has been supporting vulnerable Badi girls, who were living in high risk and difficult condition. COMMIT Nepal supports mostly to the Orphan Badi girls whose parents are died and adopted by their relatives and they are school dropouts due to poverty. Similarly, in such a condition, we support the school dropout girls and send them a school for achieving quality education to reduce school dropout and uproot illiteracy & poverty in the community.

c) School Support Program
COMMIT Nepal has been keeping coordination with Schools/colleges where our beneficiary girls are studying. According to the request of the school, COMMIT Nepal has supported some educational materials, furniture, game materials and needed tools frequently. COMMIT Nepal has supported to the government school named                      1. Shree Bal Sikshya Adharbhut Vidhaylaya in Kohalpur, Banke district and

2. Amar Sahid Dashrath Secondary School in Rajapur Bardia district.

d) Home Visit and counseling / Mentoring Service
COMMIT Nepal has been providing counseling, mentoring service for target women/girls in our transit home and community as home visits regularly for encouragement, motivation, mentoring and reduce the sexual and psycho-social trauma. Beneficiaries attended in our transit home and got treatment support like early medical checkup medicine facilities from governmental hospitals. Similarly, we created awareness for Badi women and girls about COVID-19 coronavirus.
