COMMIT Nepal established Compassion Relief Fund (CRF) by sending the newsletter to our prayers, partners, donors and concerned people for the support to the marginalized, vulnerable & risky Badi family in the COVID-19 pandemic. After the fund collection, as the urgently needed materials COMMIT Nepal supported and distributed rice, pulse, salt, potato, cooking oil as a foodstuff and soap, sanitizer, mask for prevention from coronavirus for the total 127 families of target Badi community with the approval letter and coordination with local government.
2. Warm clothes & sweater supported to the (188) vulnerable Badi girls & boys
COMMIT Nepal has analyzed that marginalized Badi families are in highly risky condition because the income source of Badi people has been stopped due to COVID-19 lockdown and most of the working families in India are back in Nepal. COMMIT Nepal supported warm clothes to the total (188) riskiest and vulnerable Badi children (boys and girls) and school sweater to our beneficiary girls of our target area. The vulnerable badi family were so happy and gave blessings to the supporter and COMMIT Nepal for the warm clothes support, help, love & care in risky situations to marginalized children.
