COMMIT Nepal has been supporting education support for vulnerable Badi girls since 2017 by the support of COM Switzerland. In the beginning, we supported 25 Badi girls for their education in the year of 2017. As per need and planning COMMIT Nepal has extended and supporting 40 vulnerable Badi girls in 2018. COMMIT Nepal has continued 25 previous girls and selected other new 15 vulnerable girls as each girl each family process from Nepalgunj and Kohalpur municipality in 2018. As our planning, we have been supporting education support them since January. Beneficiary Badi girls are getting admission fee, school uniforms, school shoes, school bags, and text books half-yearly/annually, tuition fee and educational stationeries every month. Under this activity, all beneficiary girls passed their respected class with good marks. 2 girls have passed SEE (Secondary education Examination) with successfully. A girl has got scholarship to study higher secondary education in Kathmandu by a private school and accommodation by an organization. Other a girl is studying 11 (Higher secondary education) standards in Nepalgunj.COMMIT
